Vial, 2.0mL, Amber with White Grad Spot, Large Opening, 12x32mm, 11mm Crimp. The 40% larger opening prevents broken needles due to the increased target area. The neck finish allows for the use of the patented Poly Crimp seals or standard aluminum seals. This vial is designed to work auto samples incorporating a robotic arm as well as other auto samplers. The vial incorporates the unique Step Vial design that precisely centers a limited volume insert in the vial neck.

These narrow mouth vials are made with amberized, TPX (polymethylpentene) Plastic and have a first hydrolytic, Type N51A, Clear, pharmaceutical grade, Borosilicate Glass Insert, with a conical bottom, embedded in the plastic. These vials have a 200ul total fill volume and will not leak from the bottom if the needle crashes the insert. The Insert will not move in the vial. Amber vials are often chosen for light sensitive compounds and are considered low actinic. Compares to TopSert, GlassPlastic™ and Glastic™ Brands.

First hydrolytic, Class A, Deactivated / Silanized, Borosilicate Glass. Features a narrow mouth which may be useful to reduce evaporation and requires an 8mm screw cap. Amber vials are often chosen for light sensitive compounds and is considered low actinic. Good choice for biological compounds such as proteins and peptides due to the hydrophobic nature of the vial.
